Barry K. Wilemon, 71, of Apopka, Florida passed away on February 9, 2023. Mr. Wilemon was born on June 28, 1951 to the late Paul and Helene Wilemon in Birmingham, Alabama. Mr. Wilemon is survived by his loving wife Cathy Wilemon; children Tiffany (Darren) Mobley and Blake (Julie Johnson) Wilemon; grandchildren Austin, Brayden and Carson and a great grandchild on the way. He will be missed by his many loved ones and friends.

I miss you dad!! We all do. Not a day goes by that I don’t think of you! It’s hard. I know they say it gets easier with time but I’m just not too sure about that. I know you are watching over all of us and aren’t in pain but I still wish you were here. I love you daddy and roll tide from your little girl always!!

It is with true sadness in hearing of Barry’s passing. I simply wish to express to his loved ones my fondness for Barry, which seemed to take hold within minutes of first meeting him on a building site some 20 years ago. A conversation with him was often the highlight of my day. He was one of a kind, and I had a deep admiration for him. I learned a thing or two from him as well. Count me among those whose lives he touched and will not soon forget him.
