Mr. John David Simmons

John David Simmons, 87, of Astor, Florida passed away on June 19, 2024.      Mr. Simmons was born on April 22, 1937 to the late Jesse Dort Simmons and Nellie Mae Gates in Tylertown, Mississippi. He is preceded in death by daughter Stacey Simmons; grandchild Joseph Raymond Simmons; brothers Jesse Dort Simmons, Billy Clyde Simmons, Donald Gates and Glenn Gates. He is survived by daughter Tracy Simmons; grandchildren Tiffany Ann Brumfield, Jonathan Allen Jordan, Alisha Marie (Darell Jonet) Jordan, David Mosheh (Sarah Thompson) Jordan, Michyl Zecharyah Jordan, Amanda Michelle Mizell; great grandchildren Roslyn Tessa Moreles, Zachary Holmes, Eli Gene Jonet, Levi Anthony Jonet, Nickolas Hallmark-Palmer, Willow Lyon Jordan, Amara Hallmark-Palmer, Warren Lyon Jordan and Lanalynn Hallmark-Palmer. Siblings Shirley (George) Ramsey, June Ramsey and Diane Gates. He will be missed by his many loved ones and friends.
