Aunt Evelyn was also my godmother. She was always fun to be around and revered family. Family was the most important thing to her. Fiercely loyal and she would do anything for you . I remember she cut my hair one time and I cried because it was too short. She was so concerned about my feelings and then we both started laughing. She was always the life of the party and great entertainment when she and my mom would get together . We will all miss her. My heart goes out to all of her family and friends. I am so grateful for the times I was able to spend with her.

LORD
Grant that we may hold dear the memory of your servant, never bitter for what we have lost nor in regret of the past, but always in hope of the eternal kingdom where you will bring us together again. I’ll ask this in the name of Jesus the Lord amen
