Ms. Maria Manuela Furtado

“Maria Manuela Furtado, age 55, was a loving mother of 3, Kevin, Patricia and Melissa and grandmother of 1, Nivek Furtado. She passed away in the early hours of June 16th 2023. Maria was born in 1967 in the Azores. She grew up surrounded by her large family. She had 10 other siblings, a lot of nieces and nephews and many friends. Maria loved the outdoors, being in the sun and the waters, whether it was on a boat, beaches or in the pool. She would swim like a fish. She was very smart, funny, kind and caring. She would give you her last and had a smile that made any day better. Maria was a beautiful person inside and out.

What her kids will miss the most about their mother is her heart of gold, smile like a sunshine and kindness of a goddess. They promise to be more like her every day and They will always remember her when those crazy storms hit. She has giving them so much strength over the years and will always continue to do so. They love her so much . Until they meet again.
