Ms. Patsy Joan Krause

Ms. Patsy Joan Krause (née Haney Prest), 78, passed away on March 10, 2025, in Orlando, Florida.

Born on December 25, 1946, in Carbondale, Illinois to Joseph and Helen (Brewer)Haney. Who preceded her in death. Patsy pursued her education at Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. She dedicated much of her professional life to helping others as a drug treatment counselor before retiring in 2009.

Patsy found great joy in spending time with her grandchildren and cherished moments crocheting, reading the Bible, and taking walks. Her faith was an integral part of her life; she was an active member of CrossLife Church in Oviedo, Florida, for many years and later worshiped at First Alliance Church in Orlando.

She is survived by her three children: Jed Prest of Ashland, Oregon; Barbara Wolstenholme (Adam) of Orlando, Florida; and James Prest (Jenny) of Carbondale, Illinois. She also leaves behind ten beloved grandchildren:

A Celebration of Life service will be held on March 29, 2025, at 1:00 PM at First Alliance Church, located at 3800 Lake Underhill Rd., Orlando, FL 32803.

Patsy will be deeply missed by her family and dear friends. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
